Seriously, it was about time I got a new iPhone. My old 3G was practically out of order, with approx. 20 seconds touch-response-time (a word I just made up) and only 8GB storage, it was… no fun at all.
Live webshop
So I browsed the web, searching for a new device as well as a suitable subscription, plenty of data (32Mbit download), free SMS/MMS etc. So I finally ended up at 3Mobil Denmark – known for best network, but also for prizes above average. However, I tried their new fancy live-webshop which most of all reminded me of Minority Report and I got a good deal on a package – Friday it should be in my mailbox! With the subscription comes the ability to upgrade at a later time, which means enabling sharing of SIM-card for my iPad - without extra costs.
This shit works
Anyway, for the first time I’ve experienced fast, efficient and quick customer-service from a mobil company, thanks to their live-webshop concept. This shit actually works and I should keep this a secret, but the next time a have a question (big or small) I won’t hesitate to use this new platform instead of grabbing the phone, typing an e-mail or even visiting their Facebook Page! Actually I had a conversation with a 3Mobil employee on their FB-page, but he was just way too slow to respond, and that’s why I ended up at the live-webshop instead.
New demands for Facebook Page owners?
Does this mean new demands for running and administrating a corporate Facebook Page, I wonder? I know for a fact, that I lost my patience after approx. 10 minutes of silence on Facebook (please notice I wrote to them during regular open hours, not in the middle of the night or something). My point is, I was having a conversation over Facebook, but suddenly they stopped paying attention to our conversation – obviously?! This made me look elsewhere, as I didn’t want to wait… my final question, I should tell you, was whether they could give me some discount, if I bought today. The answer was no.
Visiting the live-webshop I asked the very same question and guess what? They took off a $45 dollars fee
