If you’re like me, you rarely use a pen and paper anymore – you’ve made a natural transition to online devices instead. I sometime have my MAC with my during meetings, other times I use my iPhone, but now I think I will be using http://minutes.io.
This online, instant tool makes it super easy to start a new meeting draft. You just plug and play (without any plug-ins)

You have to see this campaign site for the new “The 21st Century Beetle”!
One thing is the way this site was technically build.
Another thing is, that this is a sublime example on why I agree with late Steve Jobs in the whole Flash religious arguments and why Flash is fading away. In other words, less and less units and devices will support Flash in the future and I doubt it that the next iPad will too…
“But how are we then going to create large, red, annoying balloons jumping around the screen or loud treble music bursting the internal loudspeakers on our laptops?!?!”
Exactly. This is about having a creative mind and approach and to be able to think user-experience. Way too often I see bad examples of campaign sites or other websites, in which Flash have been excessively used to create all kinds of weird flying objects and other annoying, senseless elements – just because the authors thought it looked cool and because it was technically possible.
Always consider the purpose of the site and message you want to convey.
However, I think this site is a very good example of how you can make things come to live, how the users can interact with the product and how they can have their own experience – witouth the use of Flash, SilverLight or other plug-ins.
By the way – type in the address on you smartphone and see how complete this campaign is. Obviously these guys have given some serious thought to this project – and I just love that!
#hash is the key to this excellent single-page website by http://3sidedcube.com
jQuery adds the easing, transitions, control of #hash, smooth scroller and bookmarkable #hash history via a cross-browser HTML5 window.onhashchange event. The code is minimal – the impression is huge!
