“Chicago 01″ from 2002 is the name of this limited edition signed photography from H.G. Esch. It features multiple windows from a Chicago building. The story is, that H.G. Esch notified the residents a few days prior to the shooting – just to give them a chance to either put on their best dress or get the h*** out of dodge!

I spotted it yesterday in downtown Copenhagen and it was one of the only 100 produced. The really cool thing about it, besides being a fantastic photo (in my opinion) is the mounted frame, that it comes with. The photograph is mounted onto aluminum.

The unique feature: using long-lasting elastics containing silicon, an acrylic glass plate is applied. Protected by a long-term patent, this optically attractive technique protects the work from cracks and other damage.
